Terms & conditions

These terms govern your use of the Aesthetic Haven website and any orders you place through it. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept these terms.
1. About us
Aesthetic Haven is a Guyana-based gifting service that curates and arranges gifts for delivery throughout our service area.
2. Orders & pricing
All prices are in Guyanese Dollars (GYD) and are inclusive of any applicable taxes. Prices and product availability may change at any time. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order — for example if a product is out of stock, mispriced, or if we suspect fraud — and to refund payment in full in such cases.
3. Payment
We accept the following payment methods at checkout:
- Mobile Money Guyana (MMG) — processed securely; we do not store your MMG credentials. Orders are confirmed instantly upon successful payment.
- Direct Bank Deposit — you transfer funds into our designated bank account and submit your deposit reference (and proof of payment if available). Orders are confirmed once our team verifies the deposit, typically within a few business hours during operating hours.
- Cash on Delivery (COD) — pickup only. COD is available only for in-store pickup orders; you pay the order total in cash when you collect the items. COD is not available for delivery orders, which must be paid by MMG or Direct Bank Deposit.
Regardless of payment method, you are responsible for the full order total. Submitting a false payment reference, refusing to pay a pickup-COD order without cause, or otherwise failing to pay may result in loss of access to certain payment methods and, where applicable, legal recovery of amounts owed.
3a. Stock reservations
For Direct Bank Deposit and pickup-COD orders, we reserve the items in your order while we wait for payment confirmation. Reservations have a limited lifespan — if a Direct Bank Deposit submission is not received and verified within the reservation window, the reservation expires automatically and the items are released back to inventory. Expired reservations do not constitute a binding sale, and we may re-sell those items to other customers.
3b. Payment verification & discrepancies
All Direct Bank Deposit and pickup-COD payments are reviewed by authorised staff. If we identify a discrepancy (for example the amount received differs from the order total, or the deposit reference cannot be matched), we will contact you to resolve it. We may reject submissions that cannot be verified, in which case the reservation is released. Verified payment is the trigger for recognising revenue and committing stock to your order.
4. Delivery
Delivery is performed by an independent trusted local courier partner. Delivery fees are set and collected by the courier directly. See our delivery policy for full details.
5. Gift content, variants & substitutions
We strive to deliver each gift exactly as shown, including the specific variant you selected at checkout (size, colour, gender, type, fit and any other category-specific options). Where an item — or the chosen variant — is unavailable, we may substitute it with another of equal or greater value to ensure on-time delivery. Where a like-for-like variant cannot be matched, we will contact you first before substituting.

7. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the website for any unlawful purpose, to send abusive or harmful content (including via gift messages), or to interfere with the operation of the site.
8. Intellectual property
All content on this website — including logos, product photography, text and design — is the property of Aesthetic Haven and may not be reproduced without permission.
9. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
10. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version posted on this page at the time you place an order is the version that applies to that order.
